How We Verify Listings

Recovery Begins maintains a directory of addiction treatment centres across Canada. Here is how we find, verify, and maintain those listings.

How Centres Are Added

Treatment centres are added to our directory based on publicly available information from provincial health authorities, accreditation bodies, and established Canadian directories including drugrehab.ca. We do not charge for inclusion — all listings are free.

Verification Process

Each listing is cross-referenced against multiple sources to verify: contact information, address, services offered, accreditation status, and licensing. We check accreditation status against Accreditation Canada and provincial licensing databases where available.

• Accreditation Canada verified facility lists
• Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA)
• drugrehab.ca directory
• Direct centre websites

Update Schedule

Listings are reviewed and updated regularly. Each listing displays a last-updated date. Centres can claim their listing at any time to update their own information directly.

Removal Policy

Centres that have closed, lost accreditation, or are found to be operating outside provincial regulations are removed from our directory. To report a concern about a listed centre, contact us at communications@rehab-center.com.

No Pay-to-Play

Listings are not ranked or promoted based on commercial relationships. We do not accept payment for placement or ranking within the directory.
