Teen Challenge Thunder Bay

Teen Challenge Thunder Bay is a faith-based, long-term residential addiction recovery program for men located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. As part of the international Teen Challenge network, the centre provides a structured, Christ-centred environment where men can overcome addiction and rebuild their lives through spiritual growth, community, and personal transformation.

Faith-Based Residential Recovery

Teen Challenge Thunder Bay offers an inpatient residential program grounded in Christian faith, addressing alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, and opioid addictions. Participants engage in daily Bible study, chapel services, spiritual mentorship, and discipleship alongside addiction recovery programming and practical life skills development.

Long-Term Program

Teen Challenge’s residential program typically spans 12 to 15 months, providing the sustained structure and community that lasting recovery requires. This extended format allows men to address the root causes of their addiction, form meaningful relationships, and build a strong spiritual and personal foundation for a sober life.

As part of Teen Challenge’s national and international network, graduates of the Thunder Bay centre have access to ongoing alumni support, re-entry resources, and a community of recovery that extends well beyond their time in the program.
