About
Teen Challenge Brandon Women’s Centre is a long-term faith-based residential recovery program for women 18 and older, located near Brandon, Manitoba. Part of the Adult & Teen Challenge network and accredited by Adult & Teen Challenge (ATC), the centre provides a 12 to 18-month live-in program for women ready to commit to deep, sustained recovery from addiction. With capacity for 16 residential participants and 5 graduate students, and a professional counsellor on staff, Teen Challenge Brandon offers a structured, community-centred pathway to lasting freedom from addiction grounded in Christian faith.
12 to 18-Month Women’s Residential Recovery
The Teen Challenge Brandon Women’s Centre programme provides women with a structured live-in environment where daily routines, personal development, spiritual growth, and recovery-focused learning are woven together into a holistic healing experience. The 12 to 18-month duration is intentional — lasting recovery takes time, and the extended commitment allows women to move well beyond the initial stages of sobriety into genuine personal transformation. Individual counselling, group programming, and Bible-based curriculum address addiction to alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, and opioids alongside the underlying emotional and spiritual dimensions of each woman’s story.
Faith-Based Community and Spiritual Development
At Teen Challenge Brandon, faith is not an add-on to the recovery process — it is the foundation. The programme is built on the conviction that lasting change is rooted in spiritual renewal and a living relationship with God. A structured daily schedule, community life, and Christ-centred programming create the framework for transformation that Teen Challenge has refined over decades of effective ministry. Professional counsellor Gaynell McCatty (M.Ed., Guidance and Counselling) provides the clinical expertise that complements the programme’s spiritual core, ensuring that participants receive both professional care and faith-based support.
Graduate Program and Reintegration Support
Teen Challenge Brandon’s graduate program provides five additional residential places for women who have completed the core programme and are in the transition back to independent community life. This stepped-down living arrangement provides continued accountability, mentorship, and community connection during the critical post-treatment period. The ATC accreditation affirms the programme’s commitment to evidence-based standards and quality care within a faith-based framework. For women in Manitoba ready to make a serious commitment to recovery, Teen Challenge Brandon offers a proven, supportive pathway to lasting freedom.
