LIFE Recovery

LIFE Recovery is an Abbotsford-based women’s residential recovery program that has helped over 2,000 women find freedom from addiction over more than two decades of service. Rooted in a Christian community model, LIFE Recovery provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for women seeking lasting recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Programs span from three months to multiple years, with a two-stage residential model that guides women from initial treatment through to supported independent living — all within a community centred on physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing.

First and Second Stage Residential Homes

LIFE Recovery operates a progressive two-stage residential system across four homes in Abbotsford. The First Stage Home provides the foundational residential experience — a structured, supportive environment where women focus entirely on recovery, building routines, relationships, and the personal foundation needed for lasting change. The Second Stage Home supports women who have completed first stage programming and are preparing for re-entry into independent community life, with increasing autonomy and accountability. This gradual transition model significantly improves long-term recovery outcomes.

Christian Community and Holistic Care

Faith is central to the LIFE Recovery experience. The organization’s Christian model integrates spiritual growth alongside clinical support, counselling, and holistic therapies — addressing addiction at its root and equipping women with both practical tools and spiritual strength. Programming addresses the whole person: mental health, emotional wellbeing, physical health, and spiritual identity. Women participate in individual counselling, group therapy, and daily community life within a supportive, faith-affirming environment that many describe as transformational.

Day Program and Aftercare

For women who do not require residential placement, LIFE Recovery offers a Day Program — allowing participants to receive structured addiction support while living at home or in the community. Aftercare services help women maintain their recovery after completing residential programming, staying connected to the LIFE Recovery community and the support networks they have built. As a gender-specific program serving women with alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, and opioid addictions, LIFE Recovery has established itself as a trusted and life-changing resource in the Fraser Valley.
