Chippewas of Nawash Health Centre

Chippewas of Nawash Health Centre provides community-based health and wellness services to members of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation in Wiarton, Ontario. Through outpatient addiction counselling and a range of holistic health services, the centre supports individuals and families in the Neyaashiinigmiing community in achieving physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Outpatient Addiction Services

The health centre offers outpatient addiction counselling and support services for community members struggling with alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, and opioid use. Services are delivered in a culturally safe environment that honours Anishinaabe traditions and values, with programming designed to meet clients where they are in their healing journey.
