Chabad Project Pride

Chabad Project Pride is a community-based outpatient addiction recovery program in Montreal, Quebec, operated by Chabad Lifeline. Offering Jewish values–informed addiction support and counselling, Project Pride provides accessible, community-centred services for individuals and families dealing with substance use disorders in the Montreal Jewish community and beyond.

Outpatient Community-Based Support

Chabad Project Pride delivers outpatient addiction counselling, support groups, and intervention services for individuals struggling with alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, and opioid use. Services are available in English and French, and are open to individuals of all backgrounds.

Jewish Values and Spiritual Support

Rooted in the Chabad-Lubavitch philosophy of unconditional love and human dignity, Project Pride integrates Jewish spiritual values — including the concepts of teshuvah (return) and chesed (loving kindness) — into its approach to addiction support and recovery. Spiritual programming and pastoral support are available alongside clinical counselling.

Family and Community Focus

Chabad Lifeline’s Project Pride recognizes that addiction profoundly affects families and communities. The program provides support and education to family members of those in recovery, strengthening the home environment and community network that are essential to sustained sobriety.
