Athabasca Health Authority - Addiction Services

Athabasca Health Authority provides comprehensive health care services — including addiction and wellness programming — to the five northernmost communities of Saskatchewan: Black Lake Denesųłiné First Nation, Fond du Lac Denesųłiné First Nation, Stony Rapids, Uranium City, and Camsell Portage. Serving one of Canada’s most remote regions, the Athabasca Health Authority brings accessible, community-based care to communities that face significant geographic barriers to health services.

Outpatient Addiction and Wellness Services

Athabasca Health Authority provides outpatient addiction counselling and holistic wellness programming for community members dealing with alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, and opioid use. Services are delivered within the community, reducing the need for individuals to travel to distant urban centres for addiction support.
