Akwesasne Addiction and Counselling Program

Akwesasne Addiction and Counselling Program is a community-based outpatient addiction service serving members of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne in Cornwall, Ontario. Grounded in the cultural values and traditions of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) people, the program provides accessible, culturally safe addiction counselling within the Akwesasne community.

Community-Based Outpatient Counselling

The Akwesasne Addiction and Counselling Program delivers outpatient addiction counselling and support to community members dealing with alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, and opioid use disorders. Services are offered within the community, reducing barriers to access and ensuring that residents can receive help close to home and family.
